Mother’s Day Gift Help
Whether we call them Mom, or Aunt, Grammy, Sister, or Friend, coming along quickly is that special day we set aside to remember these special women in our lives.
Flowers are certainly wonderful, and always appreciated. But how about something a bit more personal this year? Something that shows her you really gave it some thought. That you picked out something just for her.
I’ve been scouring the vastness of one of my favorite sources: Etsy!
Yes, the home of thousands of small, independently owned shops run by artisans and artisan supporters.
I’ve compiled a number of shopping lists for you. Does your honored “mother” like crafting, or is cooking her thing? Is she all about making her home farmhouse cozy and warm? Has she been transitioning to WFH, or become the head teacher overnight?
And if none of these seem to fit, there’s even one full of personalized jewelry that just about any “mom” would appreciate.
You can find all of these lists right here.
If your “Mom” is a Rae Dunn fan — and who isn’t? — this would be perfect! Add in another goody or two and she’ll be over the moon.
And here’s a list just for you.
Be sure to check them all out (esp. if you have a border collie, or similar dog ♥️)
Whether in the kitchen, on the porch or in the bedrooms, farmhouse is all about cozy, casual, inviting, but mostly, it’s about family. And really and truly isn’t that what Mother’s Day is really about? How this amazing woman makes and cares for her family.
If your special lady has seen her workspace evolving and even her “job” evolving, maybe she would love to have a bit of art or something pretty to brighten her at-home office/work/school space. Something unexpected that would make her smile throughout the day.
I labeled this list for my Office Hutch. Because I picked all of these items with my personal office makeover in mind. That’s how much I love every one of them. There are sooo many goodies here — including a tribute to the very special RBG.
Look through all the pictures I have compiled here and you will see so many ways to make any one of the pieces special.
This is what is so great about Etsy. If you like one style of ring, but you like the font you see on another, ask for it. If the bracelet you like best shows names, but you’d rather have birthdates, or just initials, or compass coordinates, ask for it. Chances are the Etsy shop can accomodsate your request. But please don’t wait until the last minute. The earlier you ask, the better your chances of getting exactly what you want, and in time for May 9th.
