Thanksgiving Week!
We’re here and although decorating and pre-baking are not nearly as complete as
I’d like them to be I so excited for this season!
I’e been meaning to share this with you since our blogging trip to California in late September.
I love the early morning hours of the day. The world is so quiet and then it slowly wakens with the light and sounds all around.
I spent these early morning hours walking Wendy’s Pasadena neighborhood. Heading out in a different direction each day. Discovering the differences of this west coast neighborhood and a few similarities to my Midwest neighborhood.
One of the most wonderful discoveries was this
Gratitude Tree
where “all are welcome to add a note of gratitude”

Isn’t that amazing!
It brought me such joy to discover.
There are literally hundreds of tags hanging from those soft pine needles, including mine!
Sadly, something like this is not practical in the Midwest – or really, a lot of the country.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t make a conscious effort to live with gratitude more forward in our hearts —
even on full display like here.
