Nursery Shares, a Mountain of Toys & No More Mailers
Hi friends! This week has been a juggling act, but the good kind. Iโm deep in the last few Nursery posts and sneaking in some Christmas crafts I canโt wait to show you.
The big one, though: Iโve been organizing almost 3,000 donated toys for a “Christmas Store” opening soon at an amazing nonprofit. They help people in need with compassion and dignity, and itโs been pure joy to be part of it. Last year, roughly 200 clients “shopped” for gifts for over 1100 family members.
Do you have a favorite way to give back during the holidays? Tell me in the comments. Iโm always collecting ideas!

On the Blog
Iโm finally sharing all the builds and crafts that turned a very functional (but, oh so bland) home gym into a sweet nursery for our new granddaughter..

The Feature Wall
We are so in love with this.
I came up with a way to create a custom mural or feature wall without drawing a thing.
Think paint-by-number, where you get to customize the accent colors and style.
Dresser Flip
Saving money while adding personality, we found a MCM dresser and mirror that met all our requirements โ except in terrible condition.
I shared the vision, then the detours and all the steps it took to make this beauty.

Next week that dresser gets its whimsy and fun, so keep an eye out!

Feel Good News & Finds
The Best News:
Weโre done with, at least for a while ๐:
political mailers, texts, emails
And the constant bombardment of divisive language
Even better, Dems, GOPers, and Indies together sent a number of clear messages.
We want change.
We want our votes to count (not invalidated by gerrymandering),
and our votes are not for sale (we don’t like dark money and super PACs).
The Easiest Christmas/Winter Decor

Last year, I suggested wall decals and window clings as the perfect fix, bringing holiday cheer to our loved ones spending the season in care facilities. But why stop there?
Small apartments?
Dorm rooms?
Homes with limited floorspace and even more limited storage space?
And the window clings look great on mirrors too.
Do you love the fun chalk-marker-on-glass style that’s everywhere, but you donโt want to spend the time and energy drawing or even tracing?
I get it, Window clings are your shortcut!
Hereโs the gingerbread village (from Etsy) or from Amazon going on my mirror gallery wall.
Plus a few more clings and decals I love.
There are so many great Winter Wonderland decals. Some have the charming look of handdrawn, other’s look more precise.
You decide the look you want.
