What I Can’t Let Go Of:
This blog is publicly, a politics-free zone, so all musings will be “Otherwise“.)

Transitions – Makeovers – Life cycles
They all come together in our modest garage!
The very place I have spent too many hours to count in my creative zone.
And yes, where a few tears were shed every Christmas season,
when exhaustion hit and I still had pages and pages of orders to fill.
But that’s now behind me, and the sewing studio
is transforming into a proper, if modest sized garage.
Both cars need to fit inside,
but I also need to fit a workshop area in there too!

Handcrafted Society Challenge (everyone’s favorite)
This month’s challenge was books!
I shared how I crafted a vintage book and dried flower arrangement for a buffet table — that can easily be recreated for a centerpiece or a fall hutch display of for your coffee table, etc.
And you won’t believe what all the other ladies came up with!
Super Fun & Easy Blind Wine Tasting Party
I updated and rewrote my popular post on How-to Host the Best Wine Tasting Party.
I concentrated on making it even easier for you to host one, including a 2-week prep plan and checklist. I even included a special Wine With Friends playlist.
Plus a great new tip for white wines that are best kept cold!

Two Porches & a Pour SPECIAL Podcast
Wendy and Lynn, two of my blogging besties have a podcast named Two Porches and a Pour.
When we were all together a couple weeks ago, we recorded a special podcast (and for the first time you can watch it on YouTube).
Enjoy!
Organizing & Cleaning Ahead!
My good friend Lynn, of Living Large in a Small House, is a wizard at organizing and cleaning.
This is a great post about how she speed cleans during the holidays when our time is already spread thin.
But reading this again, I’m thinking that NOW is the right time to sign up for her 30-Day Organizing Challenge. That way, by Thanksgiving, I’ll have the house on a new organization system.
And then, speed cleaning will really have an impact! Who’s with me on this?

Of all the links I shared the last two weeks, you all are loving these Extended Size no-show Peds from Walmart!!!
I said they were a little slice of heaven for your feet.
Apparently, mine are not the only feet that needed some pampering.
I’m so glad I found them and was able to share them with you.
So if you missed them, they are truly plenty long even for size 10 feet and beyond. The heels truly stay put, they truly are no show, the seam does not rub.
They are everything I’ve been looking for.
I hope you’ve been enjoying the weekend!!! Thanks for hanging out with me a bit,
