On the Blog This Week

whole dried limes piled in a vintage brass bowl

This last week, I shared all the ins and outs of dehydrating fruit — focusing in on limes.

Including my new obsession of whole slit limes.

No fancy dedicated dehydrator is required!

Another great use for your Air Fryer!!!

That’s it? Probably seems like I took a vacation. Not at all!

I spent many, many, many hours in my studio sewing and shipping Christmas stockings!

I am blessed with the most amazing customers. This time of year, the orders have to be my top priority.

I hope you understand.

Coming Up Next Week

There is a LOT on the calendar for this week.

Two in particular you don’t want to miss.

Jaw-dropping (yet, surprisingly easy) Thanksgiving inspiration is right around the corner.

foam pumpkin carved to hold a bag of wine and dispense it from a spigot is sitting on an elevated basket with a wine glass beside it

My incredibly creative friend Michele at Vintage Home Designs came up with this super clever wine dispenser — yes, a foam pumpkin!

(wish I’d thought of it first)

She also shows us how she has used a foam pumpkin for an ice bucket.

Oh and so many more beautiful and imaginative Fall table top ideas!

The colors are gorgeous blended together, not truly gold, not truly silver but all the in-betweens with just a bit of moody moss added in for grounding, Plus silks, velvets, chenilles and more.

Just picture it in a room with darker moody walls. Truly stunning!!!!

Definitely not stockings you’d find anywhere else.

Top notch unique fabrics paired with my persnickety detailing and workmanship — the trademarks of South House Designs Christmas stockings
