Hello Friends,

Iโ€™ve been thinking a lot about how we step into a new yearโ€”what we carry with us, what we release, and what we quietly decide to do differently.

I usually choose a word to guide the year ahead. Last year, that word was balance. And for a while, it fit.

But as the months unfolded, balance began to feel less like a goal and more like a way of smoothing over things that deserved to be felt, named, and tended to.

The word that kept rising to the surface instead was Whole.

Not curated.
Not compartmentalized.

Just showing up whole . . . . not just the easy parts.

For me, โ€œwholeโ€ doesnโ€™t mean having all the answers or sharing every thought.

It means not editing myself into something smaller or quieter than I actually am.

It means allowing creativity and joy to exist alongside care, concern, and compassion for the wider world we share.

Weโ€™ll keep making things, creating cozy corners, working our creative muscles, and doing the work of beauty and hospitality. Those things matterโ€”deeply.

But Iโ€™m also listening more closely to that inner nudge that begs for a little more.

More care.

More awareness.

More intention about how we show up for one another.

I donโ€™t have it all mapped out yetโ€”and Iโ€™m okay with that.

For now, I just wanted to invite you into where Iโ€™m headed as we begin 2026 together.

Thank you for being here. Truly.

On the Blog

This past week was quieter than planned. Iโ€™ve been sick and moving slowly โ€” the kind of days where productivity is measured by how much rest you can get.

The upside? Lots of quiet time for thinking, evaluating, dreaming, and imagining whatโ€™s next.

So this week, Iโ€™m resurfacing a few popular seasonal favorites that many of you have loved before.

A person uses a plastic card to press white paint onto brown paper, creating vertical streaks. Their hand is visible, wearing a ring, and the pattern resembles tree bark.

Painting Artistic Birch Trees

Artistic trees without any artistic skill — not even any brushes!

This is so much fun, I didn’t want to stop. So I ended up making two long table runners!!!

Old Picture Frames Into Unique Hearts

Okay, the birch trees are true beginner level. These hearts are admittedly not.

However, if you know your way around some basic power tools, I’ve figured it all out for you and share my how-to steps and tips so you can make a basketful too!

Sweetest Little Red Bow Sweater

Hand embroidered with your little sweetie’s name.
(that big red bow is not included, simply a photo prop)

Perfect for Valentine’s Day and beyond!

A white knitted baby cardigan with red bows embroidered all over, cream buttons down the front, โ€œCharlieโ€ embroidered in red on the collar, and a large red fabric bow attached to the left shoulder.

A wicker table lamp with a floral-patterned, green-trimmed lampshade sits next to a vase of white tulips; a framed landscape painting hangs on a light beige wall in the background.

Color Block Lampshade

Isn’t this the cutest? And there are several more options to choose from.

I love the contrast scallop edge. Really sets it apart.

Penguin Pint Pal

And perfect for sharing!

Holds a pint tub of ice cream and two of your spoons. Plus it has a secret drawer in the back for toppers or small cookies!

A cute penguin-shaped mug filled with a frothy chocolate drink sits on a gray surface, holding two metal spoons upright, one in each wing-like handle.

A glass of ice water sits on a black and gold coaster designed to look like a vinyl record, with matching record coasters and a turntable-shaped coaster holder on a wooden table. A small plant is in the background.

Fun Retro Coaster Set

Do you have a vinyl lover in your life? Someone who appreciates MCM anything.

This fun coaster set could be the perfect, unique accessory they’d love.

Spring Branches

Simplicity at its finest!

Sometimes that’s all we need for spring.
If anything, I might add a few of these curly willow branches for more depth and wispiness

A personโ€™s hand holds a large bunch of long, thin branches with small white blossoms and green leaves against a light gray textured wall.
