Thanks so very much for all the concern and prayers!
They have meant the world — and really kept me bolstered.

I am happy to report I was able to go to church on Sunday
and really felt the best I have in 2026!

So it’s a new year for me!!!!
I am trying to remind myself to ease back into my normal pace.

It felt amazing to get a new post out!

Yes, it’s a project that started in May and is now blooming.
Blooming for all or our wonderful community to enjoy!

A charming neighborhood cutting garden features birdhouses perched on branches and a sign that reads, "These Blooms Were Made for Picking. Snip a Bunch - Brighten Someoneโ€™s Day!" Vibrant flowers and quaint houses form the picturesque background.

Neighborhood Cutting Garden

Handcrafted Society Challenge for July was making something for the garden.

Well, I made a garden for my neighbors!

Which of course required a sign, encouragement to snip, even scissors for those stopping spontaneously. And what’s a garden without a birdhouse or three?

It’s never to early to plan next year’s gardens . . .

The story that started it all?
A $400-savings on a stroller that our daughter and bonus son really wanted.
[Catch up on that here.]

But there is so much more than just for baby. Here is just a sampling to get you started:

If you are in the market for a great stroller – I am so impressed with the Cybex!

This specifically is the one we have and love!

A beige baby stroller with a canopy and brown handlebar is shown in profile. Blue arrows highlight the motion of the rear wheel, indicating it can move or rotate. The stroller has a modern design with a basket underneath.
  • Folds so easily
  • 20! Yes 20 different configurations
  • Holds their Graco infant car seat
  • Easiest to adjust harness straps (huge!)
  • Comes with the extra “market basket”
  • Weather cover for the toddler seat incl.
  • Great tires — important for their sidewalks and alleys
  • And the E-Assist is a game-changer, will even rock the stroller (like at a picnic)
  • Optional bassinet pram
  • Optional ride board for toddler</li>

I spent some time looking for many of their baby products the kids have and love.
Some are not the exact brand they have, but many are. And all things we highly recommend:
