My Last 2 Weeks!
Yes! Two weeks have flown by!
I have been in DC with our daughter and bonus son and “our girls”
for the last two weeks, working on L’s nursery.
(with plenty of time allocated to diapering and swaddling the toddler’s “friends”,
including Fluffy (the bunny) and Margot (the sloth) along with Miss Rachel.)
It won’t be long before she’s ready to move from the bassinet into her own room.
I am so excited about how things are coming together!
It’s a LOT of projects at once — DIY and Decor

I’m returning in 4 weeks to finish it all up.
So get ready for a whole series of inspiration coming in October.
Most of these projects will easily adapt to other rooms than nurseries!
It was truly one of our saddest farewells!
(Okay, not even close to seeing her off on a plane to Afghanistan in her Marine Corps days)
Our daughter and I love working projects together.
It’s been absolutely wonderful having this time together.
Sadly, her maternity leave will be over and she’ll be back at work when I return.
So most of the remaining work I’ll be doing solo — yet, admittedly getting
more done as both “our girls” will be at daycare.
(No more baby-wearing while painting. Don’t worry, we only used zero VOC paints.)
I can’t wait to see them again
And I can’t wait to share all the projects with you!
