Yesterday Was my Birthday!

And The Hubs surprised me with tickets to opening day at

The Sobela Ocean Aquarium at the Kansas City Zoo

(followed by dinner out with a great group of treasured friends and neighbors)

This was a jellyfish birthday for me:

As beautiful as the day and celebration was, there’s still a bit of a painful sting about it!

The Aquarium is amazing!

That perfect Goldilocks size of not being so large you get overwhelmed and a bit burned out, but large enough to give you a great sampling from Mangrove forests down to the ocean’s depth and back up to tidal pools.

But it also came with the reminder:

Stop trying to be like everyone else!

YOU and I are OKAY just as we are. We are enough, actually we are more than enough!!!
