What I Can’t Let Go Of:
What a truly glorious week it has been here in the middle of the Midwest!
I ca’t let go of it and I don’t want to let go of it. I’d even be willing to give up the thought of a White Christmas if the weather would just hold like this . . . . okay, you’re right, I wouldn’t. You know me too well.
I’m still moving all the “stuff” that goes with my blogging and my creating around. Not on’y changing the stuff but also the function of several spots in the house.
Just think of all the great organizing tips I’ll be sharing in January!!!

The Long-Awaited 2025 Nativity Expansion Patterns
This year’s nativity includes a whole new (and improved) option for a backdrop that is bigger, that can lay flat or double as holiday artwork.
BONUS: it rolls up for easy off-season storage.
PLUS: three new characters to add richness and more detail to the Christmas story.
Easy, But Crave-Worthy Pumpkin Gooey Cake
So delightfully easy, even though it tastes so crazy decadent!
This is the one that will “win” the potluck!!!
How do you know you’ve won the potluck? When your dish comes home with you licked clean, and your phone is filled with texts requesting the recipe!
My Fun Tips For Winning the Potluck Game
Speaking of potlucks. This is the cutest way to add function and flair to your boring potluck serving dish.
I’m a function-first gal, so this trick ID’s the dish for the fellow guests and alerts to any allergens.
And the we add the flair with a few seasonal touches.
Bye bye boring utilitarian casserole dish!

Favorite Item From Last Week!
Such a gorgeous way to brighten some challenging spot with a hefty dose of Christmas cheer.
Whether it’s a grown child in their first tiny apartment, or a dear friend or family member who might be spending most of the holiday season in a care facility, these lovely window clings will surely make them smile..
Apply these window clings to really bring a festive touch to their current home — wherever and whatever that might be.
TIP: If there is a wide window ledge, drape a cozy scarf where the true would be and you can even collect small gifts right there.
How About a Frosty Forest Window Cling?
You Liked the First Holiday Window Cling so much, I thought I’d share another choice I had saved for a cozy snowy forest.
This would be fun seeing us through into February!
I may “plant” a couple of table top, rustic trees in the ends of my front window box and then fill the window glass with a forest as well as fill the window box with faux snow and fir branches.
That sounds so easy. Plus it bring a bit of simplicity to our front courtyard that I’ve been craving.
Great Tip For Forcing Paperwhites
My friend Wendy of WM Design House is quite the gardener and florist.
She shared all her best tips — and one that’s quite crazy — for forcing Paperwhites.
