A decorative scene with a rabbit statue surrounded by a spring floral arrangement featuring tulips, daffodils, and other colorful flowers. Twisted branches and greenery frame the display in front of a multi-paned window.

What I Can’t Let Go Of:

I’m a planner!

I love being spontaneous (always),
love a surprise (mostly),
love taking an unexpected turn (usually)!

Oh but March, her fickle heart, her indecisiveness torments me!!!
She’s a toe-dipper! She just can’t commit!

I want March to pick a team — as long as it’s team Spring

I am so past frolicking snow days. And I’ve ever been a fan of grey!

March, please, I’m begging you, let go of the past and move forward.
Let’s usher in those gorgeous Spring days we know you are capable of.

I want to be able to plan my projects, plan our activities, even plan what I’m wearing.

On the Blog This Week

A jigsaw puzzle is partially assembled on a newly upgraded wooden puzzle board. Some pieces are organized on side trays. The puzzle's box features colorful images labeled "Dublin," while sunlight filters through sheer curtains in the background.

Basic Puzzle Board Reimagined

A thrifted basic puzzle board gained new functionality and more personality too!

None of this was difficult and has made such a difference!

Have You Every Made Meringues?

One of my favorite sweet treats to make!

These shamrock meringues are a great introduction to the melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

Fat-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, nut and soy-free! A great treat to share without allergy worries.

They require a few simple ingredients and 30 of your time minutes (tops)! Most of the “work” is dow by your oven. They cook (and cool) low and slow.

Do you fret over which image to use as your iPhone wallpaper?

Fret no more.

Today’s tip replaces the angst with total delight!!!

Remember, these tips are exclusive content for my creative community.

They will be in the Saturday newsletter emails only

(and sometimes in the FB and IG stories for my followers there).

It’s just one way I can say thank you to all those who support me time after time!

Don’t worry, you too, can become a House Mate!

Pressed Flowers!!!

These are such pretty notecards (they’d also be pretty framed) from Jennifer at Cottage On Bunker Hill. Jennifer has done so much with pressed flowers and shares her design inspiration and tips with us all.

A rustic setting with four handmade cards on a wooden surface. Three cards feature pressed ferns and a flower, labeled with "HYDRANGEA," "FERN," and "SPRING." One card is adorned with small pink flowers tied with a brown ribbon. Scissors and greenery surround them.

Collage for "Two Porches and a Pour" featuring two women, one with glasses and gray hair, one with blonde hair. Background shows a porch with plants and furniture. Includes text: "with Lynn Vogeler and Wendy McMonigle" and two wine glasses.

Want to Learn a Bit About Champagne & Laugh a Lot While Doing So?

Great! I have a fun podcast for you. Two of my blogging buddies have started anew podcast and it is delightful!

But this episode in particular is a fun surprise. It’s a conversation with an amazing “character” who has degrees in theology and psychology, is well educated on a amazing array of subjects — and is Wendy’s handyman!

Makeover!!!

We’ve seen these shelves everywhere!

You may have one hanging in your house — or tucked away in the closet.

Well, you’ll be scrambling to pull it out and dust it off when you see how my friend Cindy of Reinvented Delaware made over one she thrifted for $3!

A beige, decorative wooden trim piece is displayed diagonally on a wooden surface. The grain of the wood beneath provides a contrasting background. The text "reinvented delaware" is in the bottom left corner.

Text on a green background reads, "How to Make a DIY Air Filter for Your Craft Room," surrounded by a striped beige border. Website amysadlerdesigns.com is at the bottom.

Super Smart Craft Room/Work Room Addition

I never thought about this.

But I’m sure glad super smart Amy of Amy Sadler Designs did.

No pretty picture here, but a great idea and information!

I hope you’ve been enjoying the weekend!!! Thanks for hanging out with me a bit,
