I’m in DC for part of this week to see
our daughter, bonus son and granddaughter.
And the big project is to get started on our conversion
of their home gym into a nursery for the new baby due next month.

Yesterday we went to one Goodwill that did not carry furniture
(I really didn’t know there was such a thing)
and then one antique/thrift store where we had great success!!!
We found a great mid-century dresser that I’ll be
transforming into a changing table dresser for
Little Sprout.

It’s coming together!

That basket is the perfect size and shape for my dining room table. It came home from the thrift store begging for a remodel! But something more than a can of spray paint,

Those planters have been calling my name and I knew I wanted to combine the two.

This large rustic vessel didn’t cost me $89 and up!

It was a very large $2 mass-produced glass vase from my favorite thrift store and the addition of a hardware store staple that I always keep on hand.
