What I Can’t Let Go Of:
(just like the NPR Politics podcast on Fridays- minus the “Politics or otherwise” disclaimer.
This blog is publicly, a politics-free zone, so all musings will be “Otherwise“.)
How intertwined technology is in our lives!
And how I need to seriously work harder to NOT let tech issues spill over into my general well-being
and those I love surrounding me.
(Just putting it out there: this was a rough week tech-wise.)
On the Blog This Week
Handcrafted Society Gathering
I love 2nd Tuesdays! That’s when some of the most talented, creative crafters I know gather to share our challenge crafts.
This month we were all challenged to use Dried or Pressed Flowers.
Mine was inspired by the large Welcome flower box easel signs that I’m quite smitten with. But I wanted two carry that theme to the dinner table.
All subscribers have instant access to a free, EDITABLE printable to make your own.
Plus more styles of place cards with dried flowers!
Wk7 – ORC DIY Simple Bathroom Vanity Table
It’s the home stretch! Next week’s the final reveal!
But this was a great build! I shared why we went with a table style vanity and built ourselves.
Plus the incredibly gorgeous sink — that is a steal — along with a beautiful faucet and pop up drain.
I’m in love with how this came together. We saved a bundle, ended up with a custom, perfectly sized table just like our daughter wanted.
It’s a Moss-terpiece!
Easy Dollar Tree DIY — Moss Orb Centerpiece for Summer Tables and Displays!
Two Styles to choose from:
Fun, Carefree Harry
or
Traditional and Taylor-ed
Coming Next Week:
The ONE ROOM CHALLENGE Wraps Up
And I have another quick and easy craft for entertaining!
Tech Tips
Do you have a perfectly good iPhone or Samsung, it’s just that the battery is draining fast?
But otherwise, you would like to keep using it and save hundreds of dollars. Well, you can!
We did this with my husband’s phone. And it works great!!!

I’m SO Excited I Finally Get to Share This!!!
My amazing friend, Lynn of Living Large in a Small House has started a second blog: Small House Kitchen!
Lynn is an amazing cook!
Good food from scratch is her specialty.
Not baking. And nothing over the top in difficulty.
I think it’s her sauces and seasonings that really elevate her dishes.
And did I mentioned she makes great beverages?!!!
Go check her out and be sure to subscribe because she is just starting to load it full of her best recipes.
And on the Socials

My friend Cindy from Reinvented Delaware, the master of thrift store upcycles and makeovers started a FB group — you can guess what they share and conspire about! If this sounds like fun join me in Cindy’s group.

So creative and so dang funny!!! and now her whole family is getting into the fun. Words cannot possibly fully relay the hysterical stabs she takes at Avant garde fashion (and the likes)
