Happy 4th of July Week
What I Can’t Let Go Of:
This blog is publicly, a politics-free zone, so all musings will be “Otherwise“.)
(just like the NPR Politics podcast on Fridays- minus the “Politics or otherwise” disclaimer.
That you’d think I would have learned by now!
When using a new-to-me medium or complicated technique,
I should start with a smaller, training wheels type project.
But no! Not me! What would be the fun in that, right?
The Hubs, you ask?
He’s a three pair of training wheels kinda guy!
So I never want to let go of the amazement that despite our innate differences,
thirty-nine years later, we are still best friends.
And we laugh at our differences even more.
(Big example of this coming soon!!!)

On the Blog This Week
Patriotic Porch
Actually FOURTEEN patriot porches and table settings, all to inspire your last minute decorating!
And they are such fun.
Certainly, at least one of these will be your style!
The Cutest Trellis for Containers or Beds
Support in style: create a chic bamboo trellis for your flower pots or flower beds.
I have a beginner’s guide to building a bamboo trellis for your happy growing climbers.

Life Tip
Today’s Tech Tip is actually a life tip:
How to fix decorative folded fans that have given out in the extreme heat
Bonus: Simple modification so you can use folded fans and
honeycomb crepe paper balls again and again!
Remember, these tips are exclusive content for my creative community.
They will be in the Saturday newsletter emails only
(and sometimes in the FB and IG stories for my followers there).
It’s just one way I can say thank you to all those who support me time after time!
Don’t worry, you too, can become a House Mate!

Great Shares From Around the Web
Have You Smoked Coke (a Cola)?
Wendy of WM Design House has put together the cutest Smokin’ Hot BBQ table.
She shares it with all the tips and tricks you could want for hosting a fabulous BBQ Picnic!
You don’t want to miss it!!
Refreshing, Healthy, 4-Ingredient Smoothie
Heidi of Eleanor Rose Home shared her easy recipe for a similar smoothie.
She uses my favorite trick of keeping a bag of peeled sliced bananas (but I just break mine in thirds) in the freezer.
The frozen fruit thickens the smoothie rather than ice that dilutes it.
Yum! Yum! Thanks to Heidi!
I hope you’ve been enjoying the weekend!!! Thanks for hanging out with me a bit,
