A lit candle decorated with a rabbit and floral design sits on a small white plate with moss. Next to it, a brown egg is in a green glass egg cup. A wooden tray with eggs and greenery is blurred in the background.

What I Can’t Let Go Of This Week:

The incredible mountain of technical details and critical “stuff” that resides on the backend of websites!!!

Yes! I am drowning in the process of making over my website.
You don’t see any of it yet. But I’m counting on the new site going live this week.

Of course, some of the additional functions and such will be rolling out over a bit more time than that.

I am asking, okay pleading, of you to let me know what you think.
Including what you want more of and what you want less of.

And what really makes them are those sweet edible “wax” seals.

They are quick and easy to make once you know the secrets.

I almost gave up. But then I came up with the magic combination and now I can’t wait to make more

My Guide to the Easiest Way to Have Your Voice Counted

It’s critical to let your Congressional Representative and Senators know what you support and what you don’t.

I know it feels overwhelming to think about composing a letter, etc. Actually, the best way is via a phone call and or email. They are tallied daily. And they carry sway.

Letters and postcards can take weeks to clear through the congressional mailroom.

I shared one of the easiest ways to do this.

A person with long curly hair uses a smartphone outdoors, holding it in both hands. The focus is on the phone, and some papers are on the table in front of them.

Today, I have a really important tip for all iPhone users.

It only takes a moment, but you definitely want to toggle this button for security sake.

Remember, these tips are exclusive content for my creative community.
They will be in the Saturday newsletter emails only
(and sometimes in the FB and IG stories for my followers there).

It’s just one way I can say thank you to all those who support me time after time!

Don’t worry, you too, can become a House Mate!

I’m craving some freshening up to make the house feel warmer and brighter. I really scored with these new options at TJ Maxx — which you know don’t last long!!!

Spring Neutrals at TJ Maxx

This set of three neutral pillows is just too good! Get a look at that bunny sitting in the chair. Perfect sizing, right?

I’m planning to add some budding branches in this bunny pitcher.

And when this brass bunny bowl/planter isn’t holding grass and jelly beans, it might have a sweet little teardrop plant peeking out of a mound of moss.

Green Pottery!!!

For when it can’t get green enough, quick enough. for me!

I’m in love with these worn, crackle finish pots in green. And for half the price I’ve been looking at with others.

Here’s the small pot and the medium pot.

A group of three along with the light, will make the impact I want on a long tray for our dining table throughout the spring.

And that sweet scalloped edge bunny plate is perfectly sized for sooo many spots. Including the plate rack that flanks the dining table.

Timeless Blue & White

I love this Peter Rabbit baking dish to showcase on my open shelves or my plate rack.

And this 10-inch square basket is the perfect size and texture. I can’t wait to wind my own ribbon though the open channel based on my room decor or the season.

Maybe even to compliment this quilt that will be lovely across the foot of the guest room bed.

William Morris Does Spring at TJ Maxx

And I’m thrilled to find the iconic intricate detailed block prints of William Morris prints, but in spring colors.

This artichoke print! I know, it’s not WM. But it leans that direction in a simplified, oversize scale.

The blue & white is already on their way. Now I’m deciding between this pair, and this pair.

  • I ordered two different sizes of heart punches because I want to make paper heart garland for Valentines. I’ve been looking HERE for inspiration. I wanted good quality punches (not like the dull ones I used for scrapbooking back in the day). I’m hoping to use these for cotton fabrics, too. I got THIS one and THIS one. Very happy with them and excited to get crafty!
  • Just love the ruffled detail on the neck and cuffs of these gingham blouses. I actually got two colorways, and they come in a lot of options, too. The fabric is fairly thin, so perfect to layer under a sweater or vest and not get too hot. Will be great for Spring days, too. You can find them HERE.
  • The new year always means trying to make better habits, right? I’ve always hated flossing, but THESE little gadgets make it not so much a chore. And I love keeping my teeth white with THESE handy strips.
  • By this time in the winter, my cozy sweaters are getting pilled. Thank goodness for THIS handy little machine that shaves them right off quickly. I also use it on blankets and upholstered furniture to give them a fresh look.

Valentine’s Day Decor

I don’t do a lot of decorating for Valentine’s Day, but I do think it’s fun to add a little touch of love to my home in February. โ€œHandyโ€ calls it a Hallmark Holiday and won’t participate; however, he does like when I fill a jar with Valentine’s candy. I found a few things that I’m loving for the season.

While I recognize it is only February and spring is still several months away, I am eager to embrace the pastel hues and new designs of the coming season. Here are some of my favorite online finds for this month.
