What I Can’t Let Go Of:

No, this isn’t a revolutionary focus, but it’s brought home to me this weekend

It’s a very significant HS reunion for me
And watching our sweet grand baby change before my eyes (well, my FaceTime eyes)

I need to recommit to slowing down and living in the present!

I love being busy, I love having a project (or maybe three) in the works.
And I love encouraging others to explore, be creative, and try new things.

This all brings me great joy.
But I need to be on alert that this joy does not intrude on
the joy from spending time with family and friends!!!

This was the main goal behind selling the
Christmas stocking and tree skirt business.

I already have so much more time to enjoy this fall!
And I am intent on exactly that.

On the Blog

A cluster of delicate white hydrangea flowers with green leaves is attached to a small, green, textured canvas on a white wall. There is a piece of white ribbon among the leaves.

Fun, Easy and So Customizable

Talk about fun and easy projects!!!

Transform boring mass-produced canvas prints into unique 3D wall art — Or a 3D wall vase as I did here.

Trade out the fresh flower for cute plant cuttings and you have a great propagation station.

And so many possibilities beyond plants!

Truly Addictive!!!

Honestly, I’m not surprised.

And it all starts with a cake mix, but no will ever guess!!!

This week’s exclusive tip is a simple hack you can pull into service whenever you’re serving snacks.

Hello, watch parties, the holidays, then March Madness.
Can we agree that the next several months are prime snacking season?

Remember, these tips are exclusive content for my creative community.
They will be in the Saturday newsletter emails only
(and sometimes in the FB and IG stories for my followers there).

It’s just one way I can say thank you to all those who support me time after time!

Don’t worry, you too, can become a House Mate!

Is Pumpkin Overload Even Possible?

My sweet friend Wendy, @ WM Design House, is the queen of pumpkins!!! And one of her best tips is to only use dried pumpkin stems.

This post gives you all thee details, plus more than 20 of the most fabulous pumpkins ever!!!

A large orange pumpkin is used as a planter, filled with a variety of colorful succulents, dried seed pods, and foliage, sitting on a wooden surface in a rustic, decorative setting.

A textured ghost decoration on a wooden plaque hangs on a white wall, surrounded by black paper bats. Two tall white candles in wooden holders are on the left. "Do Dodson Designs" is written at the bottom.

The Cutest Cheese Cloth Ghost

If you’ve been around for any length of time, you know about Do Dodson. I’m a big huge fan of Do’s.

This fun ghost is just one example of how she takes a relatively simple craft and just elevates it with her Do style.

This cheesecloth ghost is so charming!

All from Etsy — supporting artists and small businesses!

I hope you’ve been enjoying the weekend!!! Thanks for hanging out with me a bit,
