Fabulous Friday Link Party 2.0

11.4.22

Interrupting this program to bring you Breaking News:

If you’ve been around for a bit, you know I have become obsessed with Lambs Ear.

Yes, that prolific garden perennial who’s very subtle, soft and charming in the garden and makes my heart go pitter patter.

But bring those fresh leaves inside and heart does flips.

Last year I preserved it, I used it in bud vases, I made little bundles to hang. I made a wreath with it.

But this year, this year, I didn’t dry it. I used it fresh to make these ornaments.

To answer the no. 1 question: yes, they stay fuzzy and retain that lovely color (just keep them out of direct sunlight). The leaves do get brittle as they dry. I made the ornaments in June when I was photographing all the Christmas stockings and mantels. and my ornaments are still lovely.

They were such a hit, this week I made trees!!!

Aren’t they just the sweetest.!?!

Looking ahead: Next week is going to be a DOOZY!

EVERY day, five Blogging Besties are sharing new content filled with Christmas Cheer!

Be sure to check back every day.
