What I Can’t Let Go Of:
Oh, the joy of scheduling time with friends in the middle of the week.
I don’t do this very often, but I need to start doing it more!
I have a friend who is very crafty and another that insists she’s not, but secretly wants to be.
The non-crafty one has been wistfully longing (okay, let’s call it whining) for two years
wanting to make these painted napkins.
Even though I have a full blog post on it AND a 20 minute video, she wanted to do it together.
What can I say — she’s a social being. Gotta love her!
We finally got to it this week.

And it was the disruption in my week I didn’t know I needed!
Aren’t we lucky when friends perform a bit of intervention?
My life is so much richer for friends like these.

On the Blog This Week

Felt Nativity Set For the Kiddos
Whether Littles or Grands, the kiddos in your life will love a nativity set they are actually encouraged to play with!
The patterns that many have been asking for are finally added to the Free Resource Library open to all subscribers 24/7.
And the cast of characters will grow every year
Hanging a Perfectly Spaced Grid of Anything
In ONE try — no oops, no holes to patch, no paint to fix, no marks to erase!
My method worked so well on the propagation wall that I knew I needed to share it with you.
Whether you’re hanging eight super-cool propagation vases, a set of six botanical prints, or fifteen vintage plates, this same method will work for you too!

Tech Tip
EVERY iPhone user NEEDS this tip!
I had no idea these wondrous gadgets can do this.
Remember, these tips are exclusive content for my creative community.
They will be in the Saturday newsletter emails only
(and sometimes in the FB and IG stories for my followers there).
It’s just one way I can say thank you to all those who support me time after time!
Don’t worry, you too, can become a House Mate!

The Most Requested Link of the Week
Aren’t these the coolest!
They actually make me week in the knees!
I found them for a propagation wall for the non-profit organization I am helping to reimagine their small Admin Bldg.
Now, I’m trying to decide on the best spot in our home for some for myself. Problem: they would look great almost anywhere!
My Eyes Have Taken it In, Now My Mouth Can’t Wait!!!
One of my favorite bloggers and mentor, Leslie [My 100 Year Old Home] comes up with some of the most beautiful and tasty desserts.
Now I know there are a ton of pumpkin treats appearing in our inboxes. But this Gingersnap Pumpkin Trifle is the top entry in my “Must Try” file!
I’m planning on being the dessert gal at Friendsgiving this year!!!
Great to Know For Possible Christmas Crafting
Linda [Life on Summerhill] knows quite a bit about air-dry clay. She has produced some amazing projects.
So I definitely trust her advice of sealing air-dry clay projects. She put a lot of work into this comprehensive post evaluating SIX different ways you can do just that.
Thought you might have an air dry project or two on your radar for the holidays. So how to seal it for its purpose and the look you want might really be helpful for you too.
Hope you’re enjoying all the Fall Feels!!! Thanks bunches for hanging out with me a bit,
