Croquet O’Clock!

Were your summer evenings punctuated by family croquet matches too? My mother even gave us a croquet set for our first anniversary.

I knew I wanted a large “something” on the side of our tool & toy cabana. And when a charmingly weathered set was waiting for me at the thrift store, I immediately knew what that something should be.

I’m a sucker for nostalgia!

This is a cute vintage stool with a cracked black resin seat.

So I just inverted a wicker tray with a scalloped edge over the top.

Mine is an old basket I’ve had forever. But here and here and here and here and here are some scallop trays that would work great, provided they fit over the size of your stool seat.
