First Ever Premium Limited Edition Group

I’ve been collecting short-run extra special textiles dreaming of crafting some limited edition offerings. This year we added one such group to the mix:

Big Ben Christmas Stockings — So Stately & Elegant

These stockings are truly elegant and timeless (yes, rather ironic)!

Rich velvets, silks, embroidery and more all in varying greys and shows topping gold. With texture galore — exactly like ol’ Big Ben himself.

Remember, these are limited edition. As I write this there is just one left of the polka dot cuff stocking.

The 2018 South House Collection

Plaid Tidings Christmas Stockings — So Festive & Fruity

In traditional Christmas colors, but NOT! Here, red becomes raspberry, green becomes lime, gold becomes mango — let’s call it tropical traditional.

They remind me of the big tin of ribbon candy my grandma would bring at Christmas every year. And like that special seasonal treat, these stockings guarantee smiles all around. Pass the tin please.

Glacial Ice Christmas Stockings

All the the frosty, shimmery beauty of the glaciers are brought together — aqua and turquoise, with frosted ice. But we’ve added in the earthy colors of the dunes and driftwood. These stockings are stunning with icicles, tinsel and frosted greens, but also comfortable with driftwood and pinecones. They’re at home whether modern seaside or charming farmhouse.

Silver Bells Christmas Stockings — Ringing in the Holidays

Polished silvers, menswear greys, with tailored linens working together in great harmony (with a few carefully chosen notes of gold) to bring holiday panache to your home, from den to living room. It’s sophistication without formality.

These truly ring in the holidays with polished style. They’re a visual symphony.

Vanilla Spice Christmas Stockings — NOT your Plain Jane Vanilla!

There’s vanilla, and then there’s … VANILLA! These are definitely the later.

If stockings could be a culinary treat, these would be my dropdead favorite, bread pudding with warm vanilla sauce. Nothin’ like it!

Homespun earthiness of rustic white bread gives way to layers of vanilla and cream and so much more. Top it off with a warm caramelized vanilla sauce and you have rustic simplicity elevated by rich, layered decadence. You have Vanilla Spice Christmas Stockings, without the calories or a lot of colors. Simplicity, surprisingly rich.

Merry Merlot Christmas Stockings — Rich Wines Perfectly Paired with Olives and Caramels

Deep red wines with distinctive bright notes are paired beautifully with olives and caramels. A subtle paisley with just a bit of shimmer keeps this group light-hearted and anything but stuffy.

It’s old world elegance with a unique blending of colors as if it’s been cultivated over time, just like the finest of vines.

Cinnamon Apple Christmas Stockings — Warm & Spicy …. and oh, so yummy!

Layers of texture and warm, inviting colors keep this group bright and festive.

Think all the reds and golds of apples, with rich earthy cinnamon and spicy nutmeg and a generous smothering of gooey decedent caramel. Better have Mom’s recipe handy and start/revive a new family tradition.

Thanks for the stocking love Kathy!
I may make a pattern available, when I am ready to cut back sewing them myself. But that probably won’t happen for awhile.

    Diane,

I came across your website looking for beautiful Christmas stockings, and I think they are gorgeous!
I was wondering if you could make a collection of “Glam” stockings with shimmery fabrics.
Your past collection ” All That Glitters ” was a favorite of mine, but unfortunately didn’t see it until the stockings were sold out. Also, perhaps a rose-gold inspired theme would be nice?

      Hi Toni,
Thanks for your kind words AND for your great suggestions. I will definitely keep them in mind when I am fabric scouting (when am I not?)!
Shimmery, glam fabrics are always top of the list, but also the hardest to find — without looking like prom or pageant redo or Vegas showgirl.

Great names for sumptuous stockings! Another hit parade for Diane! I love my lime and cranberry stocking hanging from the handles on our armoire. The bouquet of faux cranberry branches sprouting above the cuff finishes it off. Happy Christmas!

      Hi Lynn,
      Thanks for the stocking love!
Under each grouping there is a link that takes you straight to that group’s listing in my Etsy Boutique.
Let me know if you are still having trouble.

I adore these stockings and I am looking for Blues, greys and white patterns. My Christmas decor is a nautical theme and would love to have these hanging in my mantel!

      Thanks Martha!
Check out the Silver Bells group for your greys & whites. Then maybe add in your blue in the styling with name tags, bows, baubles and bulbs in your blue nautical theme. Here’s a post on styling your stockings. Hope that helps!
