Fall table set on patio overlooking lake at sunrise

What I Can’t Let Go Of:

Fall table set with dried grasses and gourds and hydrangeas on patio overlooking lake at sunrise

This past week was filled with an eclectic array of friendships that make my life so rich hand full. It’s had me thinking a lot about:

The Mysteries of Friendships:

How can our friends be our anchors, our rocks and yet give us wings to soar?

Some friendships we choose and some we are given.

That’s just for starters. But as I wandered (and wondered) deeper down this path, I decided maybe it’s better that we don’t have really understand the magic and mystery.

Friendship is a mystery that we get to experience and enjoy. And I’ll leave it at that.

On the Blog This Week

I know! I can’t help myself!

I stumbled on these wire frame spheres and my head is consumed with ideas!

New look. New blog post!

And I have to say, this is my favorite . . .

. . . . so far.

The previous week’s with real leaves and Mod Podge is here.

I have finally started photographing the

2023 Christmas Stocking Collection!!!

Fingers crossed, their debut will be Oct 2.

Coming Next Week:

I’m sharing a round-up of many projects you can do with lambs ear from your (or your nice, sweet neighbors’) gardens. Many of these are new, so be on the lookout!

Sharing From Around the Web

My sweet friend Wendy {WM Design House] transformed mini foam pumpkins like I’ve never seen before!

(I only wish I’d thought of this first!!!)

They are fabulous and her tutorial is so detailed on all three patinas. Now you just have to decide on which one you want to go with — or perhaps a mix and match free for all!

WARNING: Cuteness overload ahead!

The amazing Do Dodson [Do Dodson Designs] outdid herself with these ghosts.

I ca’t wait to make a ghost family for our house!

You’ve probably seen a pumpkin topiary or three, but none “stack up” (ugh, groan) Jen’s [Midwest Life and Style]. She has such a knack!

Lucky us, she shared all the details! Like the angles, the leaves between the grapevine garland, etc.

I hope you enjoy your weekend!!! Thanks for hanging out with me a bit,

As I said before, I would greatly appreciate your feedback, any special requests, or questions you have.
